Welcome to my carp fishing tackle guide. As an angler, I love pursuing fish of all types, and ran into carp fishing by accident. When my Dad hooked a world record carp from a small lake (some of ya’ would call it a big pond) in Iowa, possibly Iowa’s only world record, I became interested in fishing for these fish. After eating some delicious smoked carp, I was sold. Over time I hope there will be every bit of information on here about carp fishing you could imagine, as well as guest posts and expert opinions.
